New Image Dentistry - Mastership Award

CHICAGO (Jun 26th, 2012)—The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional association of more than 37,000 general dentists dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public, is pleased to announce that Dr. Mohammed A. Mujeeb DDS MAGD, of Melbourne, FL, received the association’s 2012 Mastership Award during the AGD 2012 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, held June 21 to 24, in Philadelphia.

The Mastership Award is the highest honor available at the AGD and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Mujeeb completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education.

As a recipient of the Mastership Award, Dr. Mujeeb joins more than 2,300 active AGD Masters who understand that providing great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.

“We are proud to honor Dr. Mujeeb for his commitment to continuing education in his quest to provide quality dental care and oral health education to his patients,” says AGD President Jeffrey M. Cole, DDS, MBA, FAGD. “There are more than 169,000 general dentists in the United States
and Canada and less than two percent of those are Masters with the AGD. It’s a remarkable accomplishment for Dr. Mujeeb.

Dr. Mujeeb graduated from Columbia University, NY in 1993 and currently practices dentistry in Melbourne, FL. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Mujeeb is also a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Brevard County Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.
